Acne
Acne is an infection that has an effect on the skin’s oil glands. The tiny pores in skin attach to oil glands in the skin. These glands formulate an oily stuff called sebum. The pores are connected with the glands by a channel called a follicle. Within the follicles, oil carries dead skin cells to the shell of the skin. A skinny hair also develops through the follicle and exposed to the skin. If the follicle of a skin gland block up than acne (pimple) grows. Most of the acnes (pimples) are found on the back, face, chest, neck, and shoulders. Acne is not a severe health hazard but it can cause marks. Severe cases of acne may direct to deeper wounds and cysts.
Acne is a skin disease frequently considered as irritation in the skin, erupting in scratch. Acne is very common, particularly during teenage years, and the lots of people experience acne at some point in their life. Mostly acne effects teens and preteens. Out of 4, 3 teens will experience acne. Acne is common in both sexes equally, but generally teen boys have a tendency of long lasting and more severe acne than girls. Acne is not restricted to teens. Many adult women and men are also suffering from acne breakouts. In some cases acne can also occur in babies, infants, and kids.
