Cirrhosis Of Liver
Cirrhosis is a complication of lots of liver diseases that is categorized by unusual function and structure of the liver. The liver diseases that result to cirrhosis do so because they damage and kill liver cells, and the repair that is related with the dying liver cells causes blemish tissue to form. The remaining healthy liver cells multiply in an effort to restore the cells that have died. This result in bunch of newly developed liver cells (regenerative nodules) contained the scar tissue also. There are several causes of cirrhosis, like chemicals (like certain medications, fat, and alcohol), toxic materials (like iron and copper that collect in the liver because of genetic diseases), viruses, and autoimmune liver disorder in which the body's immune system hit the liver.
After cancer and heart disorders, Cirrhosis is the third most commonly known reason of death of people aged 50 to 65. The scar or marked tissue forms groups throughout the liver, and start destroying the liver's interior structure and damage the liver's ability to restore itself. The blemish or marked tissue also obstructs blood flow via portal vein, which bring blood from the intestines to the liver. This results high blood pressure in that vein. In addition, these blemish tissues can also block the circulation of bile (a greenish yellow digestive fluid formed by the liver) out of the liver.
