What is Swine Flu

In year 2009 one incurable disease attack on human life, that disease named Swine Flu. Now a question in everyone minds, “What is Swine Flu”. Swine influenza or swine flu is also known as hog flu, pig flu and occasionally, the swine only. It is an infection occurred due to some specific types of swine influenza Virus. Swine flu started in year 2009 is popularly recognized as H1N1 influenza. It is a human infection. Generally it is assumed that Swine Flu is spread only because of pigs but in H1N1 type of infection people get infected directly from other people, not from pigs. The infection initially was nicknamed swine flu because the virus that basically causes the infection came to human beings from pigs and the virus includes genes of swine bird. But still scientists are arguing regarding, what the virus should be called, but commonly people recognize it as the H1N1 swine flu virus. The swine flu viruses that spread between pigs are not identical as human flu viruses. Swine flu doesn't frequently infect human beings, and the exceptional human cases that have happened previously. Past cases have mostly affected people who had direct and regular contact with pigs. But the current "swine flu" occurrence is different. Latest swine flu virus has transformed his ways and permits it to spread from person to person. It is happed between persons who haven't had any contact with pigs.

Swine Flu that is in 2009 referred, as H1N1 is a new influenza virus causing sickness in people. This H1N1 virus was firstly detected in people in the USA (United States) in initial of April 2009. This virus is spreading from one person to another worldwide, possibly in the same manner that normal seasonal influenza viruses spread. Touching something –such as a surface or object – may infect sometimes people with flu viruses on it, if immediately after that they touch their mouth or nose.
